Award-winning American Idol executive Robin Kaye was found murdered inside her $4.5 million home in Los Angeles alongside her partner, Thomas Deluca.
As per the officers, the bodies of Kaye and Deluca were discovered when they were randomly carrying out a welfare check. Authorities mentioned how they went into the Encino home on Monday after friends and family hadn't heard from the pair in four days. After arriving at the home, they spotted blood at the front door of the residence.
Inside the mansion, officers found the pair shot to death. As per reports from media outlet TMZ, the incident was soon investigated as a double homicide.
Both Kaye and Deluca were found with gunshots to the head, but were found inside different rooms of the residence. As of right now, the cops do not suspect a burglary, and nobody is in custody. Authorities are now reviewing security footage to get more information.
Just days before, officers were called to the residence when an unidentified person was seen hopping the fence onto the couple's property. Police responded to the call and started to search the property but they did not find a suspect or evidence of forced entry.
