Kate Perry is being probed after shocking allegations of s*xual assault against the star were made by actress Ruby Rose.
Rose reportedly accused the Roar singer of s*xually assaulting her in 2010 during an incident at Melbourne nightclub, Spice Market.
A spokesperson for Victoria Police mentioned how detectives were investigating a historical s*xual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010.
Police have been informed that this incident arose at a licensed premises in Melbourne's CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage, the police added.
Rose has since then generated a post on Threads stating how she can no longer discuss this incident further while the police continue to investigate her claims.
