Michael Patrick has died at the age of 35 after a nearly three-year-long battle with motor neuron disease.
The star was Ireland gained massive fame after appearing in the HBO hit series Game of Thrones. The tragic news was shared by his wife on Instagram. This left fans devastated.
The post went on to read: 'Last night, Mick sadly passed away in the Northern Ireland Hospice', she mentioned. He was admitted 10 days back and was cared for by the incredible team present over there.
He died peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. Patrick was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disorder in February of 2023.
"Words can't describe how heartbroken we all are," his wife continued to mention in an emotional tone.
It's been mentioned more than once that Mick was an inspiration to everyone who was privileged enough to come into contact with him, not just in the past few years during his illness but in every day of his life. He is believed to live a life as full as any human can live.
