Bindi Irwin speaks out on 'indescribable pain' from 'invisible disease' in heartbreaking health update

Bindi Irwin is shining a light on an invisible disease that she and so many other women go through, yet many remain silent on the matter.

On March 30, the star took to her account on Instagram to include some posts and images of her in a hospital bed, while reflecting on her own experience with endometriosis.

In the past three years, the celeb mentioned how she's had more than 50 endometriosis lesions cut out of her body. One was a cyst that was sticking to her ovary on the side and therefore needed to be removed urgently, she continued. After that, she also had an appendectomy and a repair of a hernia. For this, she explained how she's gone through so much inescapable pain.

The celeb then mentioned how she tries her best to keep her invisible illness to herself because doctors claim it's a part of being a woman.

But after spending nearly a decade being undiagnosed, she feels it's finally time to speak up because when she was much younger, she was so weak and insecure, but today, she's confident and no longer trapped in her body.
