Professional golfer Tiger Woods was allegedly found with opioid painkillers by the cops investigating his rollover crash, as per the latest DUI report.
The golf icon allegedly had two hydrocodone pills inside his pocket at the time of his arrest in Jupiter, Florida. This is when he was said to be on suspicon of driving under the influence on March 27.
An arrest affidavit was obtained by the celebrity gossip site that also boldly states that a deputy noted how Woods was acting lethargic and very slow, and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, while his pupils were extremely dilated.
When Woods was asked by law enforcement whether he was on any medication following this crash, the 50-year-old allegedly replied with 'I took a few!'
Hydrocodone is an opioid that is used to treat severe episodes of chronic pain. As per reports from TMZ, Woods blamed the crash on being distracted by his cellphone and trying to change the whole radio station.
He said he did not spot the truck in front of him on a narrow two-lane road until it was just too late, raising eyebrows amongst the authorities. He also underwent a breathalyzer test, which proved he did not have any alcohol in his system.
