A 58-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly plowed his vehicle through a gate before driving onto the runway at an airport that was located in Florida.
Sources revealed how the man behind the wheel was intoxicated and arrested on Wednesday. He was identified as Bryan J. Parker of Holly Hill.
He crashed through the locked premises gate at Daytona Beach International Airport, as confirmed in a new Facebook post.
Parker also tried to board two planes at the airport, as per a press release from the police. The airport shared further how the suspect crashed his car at a high rate of speed through a locked and secure gate, then drove onto the airfield towards the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University aircraft ramps where he tried but was not succesful getting control of two planes.
One airport operations agent shared how the security was seen chasing the suspect on foot and detained him before officers could arrive.
The sheriff's office also revealed, through bodycam footage, more about Parker's arrest.
