Shocking reports are speaking about an Arizona sheriff's deputy being accused of kidnapping a woman while he was on duty.
As a result, he has been terminated from his position at the department investigating Nancy Guthrie's disappearance, as per the authorities.
The Tucson Police Department confirmed the shocking news to Fox News last night and mentioned how 22-year-old Travis Reynolds, who was a former Pima County Sheriff's Deputy, was taken into custody and charged with one count of kidnapping.
"The Tucson Police did arrest 22-year-old Travis Reynolds and charged him with alleged misconduct that arose while he was on duty," the department shared.
Cops added that the investigation is still active and ongoing and declined to release further details on the matter.
The complaint regarding the accused stated how Reynolds shared a vape pen with the handcuffed woman and told her he could handle her case, suggesting that they go to a hotel and have intimacy.
Investigators alleged further that Reynolds also showed the detainee explicit content and delayed taking her to prison, as other officers were busy processing other people in custody.
