Savannah Guthrie recently sat down for her first interview since her mother's kidnapping. The Today Show co-anchor spoke with her former colleague Hoda Kotb during a two part long discussion, which is the first that was aired yesterday.
Savannah was asked by the host about the speculations that swirled regarding her family possibly being involved in her mother's abduction.
"When you talk about cruel speculations about a possible family member being involved, how do you weather that?"- the host asked.
Savannah mentioned how that was just unbearable, and the number of possible conspiracy theories coming out at a moment when the family was already so distressed was just so painful for her.
"And it piles pain upon pain, and there are just no words for those people. I don't understand, and I will never understand,"- she continued.
