The star suffered from a serious wardrobe malfunction when her ivory silk gown from luxury label Ralph Lauren got trapped on the escalator, right at the venue.
The jewelry designer could be seen unveiling her dreamy cream attire, but it was clear that her happiness started to turn into shock and turmoil after this incident.
Things did thankfully work out well in her favor with a little help from others, but the star still documented all the drama that went down and made it a point to share that side of the evening with her fans to give them an actual sneak peek of what was happening.
In the footage, Getty is seen sitting at the bottom of the escalator with her head in her hands. Her slinky silk skirt is trapped under the revolving steps. Workers rushed to her aid and tried to untangle her dress from the escalator, but she called this moment a clear close call for obvious reasons.
