Parents and 2 Daughters Killed in Head-on Crash While Celebrating Dad’s Birthday. Cousin Says She ‘Can’t Make Any Sense’ of Tragedy

A head-on collision between two cars in Minnesota claimed the lives of five people, including four family members, as per the authorities and a relative of the victims.

As per reports from the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident took place on Friday at about 4:42 pm local time on Highway 71, around 240th Street in Cottonwood County.

In the report, the department mentioned how an SUV carrying one occupant collided with a 2019 Ford Transit Van with 13 occupants.

Nine other people were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries ranging from critical to non-life-threatening.
