Actor Sean Penn might not have received an Oscar personally, as he didn't attend the ceremony, but he did have the honor of being presented with another cool one from Ukraine.
The Hollywood icon won the unique honor following his 2026 Academy Award win for Best Supporting Actor for his role in One Battle After Another.
Penn did not attend the ceremony to get his third Oscar in person in LA on Sunday. Instead, he was pictured in the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv on Monday with another surprise.
Kieran Culkin presented the high honor and accepted the award on his behalf.
On Tuesday, Ukrainian Railways presented Penn with an Oscar statuette that was made from metal that belonged to a train that got damaged in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
"You are missing the Oscars, so here, we made you this one!"- Penn was informed in the video. Penn was more than glad and was so shocked at the efforts taken to grant him a unique accolade.
