A major drone strike has hit the fuel tank at Dubai's International Airport, with another major disruption to all flights arriving and departing.
The incident arose after Iran targeted the highly sensitive location, which emerged into a huge blaze. As per Reuters, Dubai authorities managed to bring it under control, and no injuries have been reported so far.
The US-Israel war against Iran has thrown the entire global aviation industry into a state of turmoil, with flights being rescheduled, cancelled, and rerouted on an emergency basis. This is because most of the Middle East airspace remains shut over fears of missile and drone attacks, as the price of fuel soars.
The attack conducted today is the third to target the popular and busy destination that has been struggling with panic and chaos due to the war.
While the UAE and Gulf nations, including Iraq, Jordan, and Turkey, host different military facilities, Iran continues to make use of drones and missiles to target civilian facilities.
