Parents Found Dead After Sleeping Died of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, Leaving Behind 3 Teenagers

Tragic reports are confirming the cause of death for a husband and a wife who passed away unexpectedly at their home in California last month.

Farmers and founders of Frinj Coffee died due to carbon monoxide poisoning, the sheriff's office recently revealed.

It was believed to be a combination of carbon monoxide/ smoke detector being found inside the room, which was disconnected, which led them to the answers to this shocking mystery.

The deaths were reportedly ruled as an accident. The pair passed away in their sleep and left behind three kids. A GoFundMe account and a note that the deceased had two 16-year-old sons and a 19-year-old daughter were also found at the same time.

The family shared more regarding the incident through a joint statement to the press. It stated the following: 'It is with profound and shattered hearts that we share the news of the tragic passing of our beloved Jay and Kristen Ruskey.'
