A 30-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly firing several gunshots at the Beverly Hills residence of singer Rihanna while the celeb was still inside her home.
The incident took place yesterday at night when the police received reports of gunfire near the home. Officers replied in a quick manner and later ended up detaining the suspect. As per the authorities, the woman fired several shots from a car that happened to be parked across the street from the home.
Reports indicated that ten shots were fired, with at least one bullet hitting the exterior wall of the home.
At the time of shooting, Rihanna happened to be inside the home. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported. The cops confirmed that the suspect had fled the area where the shots had been fired, but did track down and arrested the suspect a few moments later. Investigators also found a weapon believed to have been used in this incident.
The motive behind this shooting is still under investigation, and the case remains with the police, who are requesting the press to wait for more news.
Rihanna lives on the property with her partner A$AP Rocky and children. It's not clear if they were also present inside during the time of the shooting.
