Woman Suffers Six Cardiac Arrests, & Gets Hands And Legs Amputated After Her Dog’s Lick Turned Into Sepsis

Tragic reports are speaking about a terrifying tragedy involving a 56-year-old woman from England who is said to have experienced the most devastating medical emergency that started after what seemed to be a normal interaction with her pet dog.

The woman says she allowed her dog to lick a small cut or scratch that was on her skin, and within a short span of time, she started to feel very sick.

Doctors believe the bacteria from the dog's saliva possibly entered through the tiny wound and that gave rise to a serious episode of sepsis, which is a life-threatening infection that spreads so fast through the blood.

The woman's condition began to deteriorate at a rapid pace in less than 24 hours, and that's when the doctors at the hospital noticed her struggling to breathe. The infection ended up causing serious damage to her vital organs and limbs.

On that note, doctors made the quick decision to amputate her limbs, including both hands and feet, to stop the spread of the infection. She also suffered from several cardiac arrests during her months-long stay in the ICU.
