23-Year-Old Crashes Her Jeep After Her Parents Refuse to Pay Her Allowance

A dispute between a 23-year-old woman and her parents over money took a destructive turn when she crashed her Jeep into their home.

The incident happened on Monday after police were called to the family’s home. The woman, identified as Chloe in reports, had reportedly been told she would no longer receive an allowance from her parents. She was already trespassed from the property when officers arrived.

According to police, Chloe was sitting in her Jeep and demanding that her parents put money into her bank account. She had threatened to drive into the garage if they refused. One officer tried to calm her down and pointed out that she was an adult and could face serious consequences for her actions.

But the situation quickly escalated.

As an officer was speaking with her and attempting to contact her father, Chloe suddenly put the Jeep into drive. Despite the officer telling her not to, she accelerated and crashed into the corner of her parents’ brick house and garage door.

Officers then had to break the Jeep’s window after Chloe locked the doors and refused to get out. She was eventually removed from the vehicle and arrested.

Police say the situation continued to escalate after the crash. Chloe was later taken to a hospital for evaluation, where she allegedly attacked a medical worker. She also faces charges including aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, trespassing, reckless driving and resisting arrest. Court proceedings are ongoing.

The bodycam footage was released months after the incident and has since circulated widely online.
