Melania Trump Reveals the Struggle She Faces When Dealing With Donald Trump

Melania Trump has opened up about a growing challenge in her family life as she balances her role as first lady with her husband Donald Trump’s demanding schedule and their 20-year-old son Barron’s college life.

During a September 23 appearance on Fox Business’ “The Big Money Show,” Melania was asked how she manages to spend time with her family, including Barron, while juggling her public responsibilities.

She explained that scheduling has become increasingly important because everyone is busy. Melania said Donald often works late in the Oval Office, making traditional family dinners difficult to arrange.

“So do you wait until you will have dinner? You don’t, because he’s busy. I’m busy too,” she said.

Melania also spoke about how her relationship with Barron has changed as he has grown into a young adult and attends New York University. She acknowledged that the family now has less time together, saying their family time is “less and less” and that it is “suffering” because of their schedules.

At the same time, Melania said she understands that Barron is becoming more independent. She suggested that he may sometimes be happy to have space to focus on his own life and responsibilities.

Her comments come months after she spoke about parenting Barron when he was 19, saying that parents need to be there for their children “nonstop,” particularly at an important age. Her latest remarks suggest a different stage of motherhood as her son moves further into adulthood.

Melania has generally kept details of her family life private, making the candid comments about her husband and son an unusual glimpse into their day-to-day lives.
