McDonald's is teaming up with Netflix to bring the world of KPop Demon Hunters to life through a limited-time campaign featuring exclusive menu items and collectible content inspired by the movie’s fictional rival groups, HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys.
The collaboration officially begins March 31 across participating McDonald’s locations in the United States, inviting fans to choose sides in what the companies describe as a “Battle for the Fans” experience built around the film’s storyline rivalry.

As part of the promotion, two themed adult meals will represent the competing groups. The HUNTR/X meal includes Chicken McNuggets paired with Korean-inspired Ramyeon McShaker Fries and special sauces influenced by flavors available in McDonald’s South Korea locations. Meanwhile, the Saja Boys meal offers a breakfast-style option featuring a Sausage Egg McMuffin with spicy pepper sauce.

Fans purchasing the meals will also receive collectible photocards featuring characters from the film. Some cards include QR-code-based access to exclusive digital content available through the McDonald’s mobile app, extending the interactive experience beyond the restaurant visit.
In addition to the meals, the campaign introduces a limited-edition Derpy McFlurry made with vanilla soft serve and berry-flavored toppings, further expanding the themed menu inspired by the film’s universe.

The partnership reflects the growing influence of K-pop-inspired storytelling in global entertainment marketing. Released in 2025, KPop Demon Hunters follows a fictional girl group secretly battling supernatural enemies while competing with a rival boy band known as the Saja Boys. The film became one of Netflix’s most-watched titles and received major international recognition, helping expand its cultural reach beyond streaming audiences.
By combining exclusive menu items, collectible merchandise and app-based content unlocks, McDonald’s and Netflix are encouraging fans to engage with the film’s characters in a new way while strengthening the connection between pop-culture storytelling and real-world fan experiences.
