During a pretrial hearing, the judge agreed to release him on his own recognizance under strict conditions that he wait for his trial.
The incident left many people in Hollywood stunned when the case first surfaced, and after the actor's shocking claims that it's 'very possible' that he touched the children.
During the hearing, Gilbert was seen in a very emotional and crying state and expressing mega relief once the judge granted his release and he could reunite with her and her loved ones.
Under all of those release terms, Busfield needs to follow serious restrictions, including no contact with the victims or their loved ones, amongst others.
