Rapper Nicki Minhaj has broken her silence after petitions around the US to have the singer deported back to her own country reached hundreds of thousands.
The star ended the weeks of intense controversy after speaking her mind on the matter, despite deleting her account on Instagram, which really left fans so shocked.

The news comes after the celeb chose to align herself with the MAGA movement and praised former President Trump and a host of other leading conservative figures.
Her political shift gave rise to massive backlash from fans and critics alike, including signatures from close to 120,000 individuals.
This spoke about her going back to Trinidad and Tobago, which is where the star belongs.

When she did return online, Minaj directed most of her posts towards Don Lemon and replied in a very angry tone.
She shared that his reporting on a protest involving immigration enforcement at a church raised eyebrows. That's when she made use of a homophobic slur in her texts and demanded that Lemon be jailed. If that was not enough, she even accused him of unfair treatment of Christianity.
