The White House just shared a new holiday cartoon that featured a drawing of Donald Trump on Wednesday, but it’s the catchy and creepy phrase ‘Daddy’ that got plenty of people’s attention.
In the picture, Trump stands in front of the White House donning a Santa hat and gives a thumbs up sign surrounded by the message, Daddy’s Home’ written in giant red colored letters. The official Instagram account even added a caption: ‘Home for the Holidays!’ It certainly did not take too long for the post to get mixed reactions across the board online, while some people commented on how it was an absolute shame and embarrassment to the president.
‘Imagine idolizing a president and referring to him as a daddy! I have a father already, but thanks!’- the commenter added with a gross face emoji. Another commented on how they wished they could unsee this!’ There were some who took the message in a not-so-serious manner and advised others to do the same and remain positive in holiday spirits.
The president’s Christmas post comes just days after First Lady Melania Trump shared this year’s White House Holiday theme and festive decor. This again got mixed reactions from viewers.
