Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a child star actor who reportedly passed away after he was hit by a car while stepping off the school bus.
11-year-old Nikodem Marecki was run over just a few moments after exiting the vehicle near Krakow in Poland. As per emergency services, he was rushed with the help of an air ambulance helicopter, which transported him to a nearby hospital.
Reports spoke about a pedestrian being hit, the fire department confirmed. It was a young male who remained conscious, but due to the tragic nature of the accident, he was not able to make it out alive, despite the efficient transfer of the teenager to the hospital.
The child star’s family shared the heartbreaking news about their beloved son, brother, and grandson, who died the next day. Nikodem starred in a multi-award-winning Polish war drama called White Courage that was rolled out last year.
Director Marcin Koszalka called this a terrible and great loss, adding how the youngster was very talented and had a very bright future ahead of him. His funeral is set to occur tomorrow.
