“Can’t Even Enjoy The Money”: Adult Star Wins $3M Payout After Being Left ‘Permanently Disabled’

Former adult film star Emily Willis and her family were recently awarded a $3 million settlement after a devastating medical emergency left her permanently incapacitated.

A LA judge approved the $3 million payout to resolve a legal case filed by Willis' family against Summit Malibu, which is a luxury drug rehab center located in California.

The latest settlement resolves the negligence and fraud lawsuit without any kind of formal admission of wrongdoing by the treatment facility.

In February of this year, the 27-year-old performer checked into the Malibu facility to get treatment for ketamine addiction. Roughly one week into her stay, she was found unresponsive in her private room after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The cardiac arrest severely restricted oxygen flow to the brain, resulting in irreversible and profound brain damage. Willis now remains in a seriously incapacitated state under the legal guardianship of her mother.
