A very dramatic video was recently captured that showed a devastating wildfire at a popular tourist location.
The video was taken from the Canadian National Rail freight train, which was reportedly surrounded by intense wildfires near Armstrong, Ontario. Several crew members were seen calling for an emergency rescue after becoming encased in flames.
Fortunately, the trapped workers were safely rescued, though operations in this region remain suspended for the time being. As per the BBC, the incident was part of a serious environmental crisis, with more than 838 active wildfires currently burning across the country.
This includes more than 100 in the province of Ontario alone. The resulting heavy smoke had blanketed Toronto, turning skies yellow and giving the city some of the worst air quality in the world.
