Musician DuaneAJ is sharing his experiences while traveling across Cornwall, England, and performing for elderly residents located in local care homes.
The performer mentioned how he founded his specialized care home entertainment business after the death of his grandma, which gave him the inspiration he needed to start this venture.
He retaught his entire music career and focused more on bringing comfort, joy, and companionship to others. While his interactive performances are full of singing, laughter, and dancing, the 37-year-old star says he opened up about the most heartbreaking aspect of his daily routine.
He added that one of the most difficult parts of his job is returning to a care home a month later and discovering that someone he performed for is no longer with him. Despite the inevitable losses, he finds that the work is so deeply rewarding.
The residents have taught him to stay humble and focus on the simple joys of life, such as friendship and kindness.
