The family of right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk is now demanding that evidence presented inside the courtroom be made public for the entire world to witness.
The evidence has to do with Kirk's accused killer, Tyler Robinson, where the family attorney shared during a preliminary hearing that withholding this kind of data might give rise to more doubt and distance inside the judicial system.

They similarly argued that it was time that the world witnessed all of this. On the other hand, defense attorney Richard Novak is fighting to keep certain parts private, specifically a recorded interview with Robinson's roommate. This defense argues that making these communications public, which prosecutors might frame as a confession, might jeopardize Robinson's right to a fair trial.

Robinson is accused of fatally shooting Kirk on September 10 last year during a rally of Turning Points USA at Utah Valley University.
