President Trump was seen considering a list of pardons recently, and the news has left many people dumbfounded.
As per a report shared by local media outlets, the potential clemency could be part of the bigger 250 pardons for 250 years initiative that's designed to mark America's 250th Independence Day Celebrations this year.
On the list are P. Diddy and Pras Michel of the Fugees. While the White House has downplayed such claims in the past, hinting at the claims made by Trump in January of this year, when he shared that he would not consider any such offer.
But now, he seems to be making use of his executive pardon for some people that many in the public feel don't deserve a second chance. Now, both of them are considering appealing the convictions, but with the president's intervention in between, they might not need to, as they would receive a direct pardon.
The White House is yet to comment on the sensitive matter, but it did share in the past that it was off the table.
