An apparent trespasser who was fatally struck by a Frontier Airlines plane at a Colorado airport on Saturday was seen calmly walking across the runway while the plane barreled towards him as per new and shocking surveillance footage.
The victim, who is yet to be identified in public, was sucked into one of the engines of the Airbus A321 during its new mid-takeoff at Denver International Airport.
The person had jumped the perimeter fence and was on the tarmac, where they were mowed down at about 11:20 p.m., according to the airport.
New security video shared online showed the terrifying moment when this person was hit while walking on the runway.
The victim could be seen walking from one end to the next with little urgency. They seemed to be perfectly aligned with one of the plane's engines when part of their upper body was sucked inside.
