A man from Texas who survived the Hanta virus is now sharing more details about the terrifying symptoms that he experienced that nearly killed him.

This includes an alarming feeling that appeared that his brain was melting. The illness started with what appeared to be some kind of ordinary fever, and soon he started to experience serious headaches, muscle pain, vomiting, and extreme confusion.

His condition started to worsen with time, and that left him hospitalized and struggling to breathe as doctors rushed to keep him alive.

The virus was believed to be spread through contact with rodent droppings or contaminated surfaces. It could attack several organs and give rise to some serious, life-threatening complications.

The survivor mentioned more about how the mental health effects were the most brutal part and explained how they went through hallucinations, memory loss, and unbearable pressure to the head. There was also a point where he feared that he would never recover.
