Alarming reports are speaking about one of the Hantavirus passengers aboard the doomed ship attending a packed wedding after leaving the cruise.
Ruhi Cenet says he did attend a large gathering post his travel, adding how he was on the MV Hondius cruise amid the hantavirus outbreak.
Cenet got major backlash after an image of him attending the wedding held in Istanbul went viral and then surfaced across social media, as per local media outlets.
He was seen explaining why he was at the event on May 3, which is the same day that the WHO mentioned that it was busy investigating a possible hantavirus outbreak on the cruise.
'On that date, I attended the wedding, and the Hantavirus epidemic was not yet shared by the WHO'- he revealed but that was not a good enough explanation as many felt he should have been a respnsible citizen by exercising precaution.
