The actress, 49, recently discussed her relationship with her 14-year-old during an appearance on Chelsea Handler’s “Dear Chelsea” podcast. Faris revealed that Jack has become religious, despite her saying that she did not grow up with religion herself.
According to Faris, her son has even asked her to accept Jesus Christ as her savior. Rather than dismissing his beliefs, she said she has been willing to have long conversations with him about faith and their differing perspectives.
Faris explained that she told Jack she would do anything for him, including considering what he was asking, but added that such a decision would require “a whole lot of long conversations.”
The actress also acknowledged that their discussions can become tense because she sometimes challenges ideas associated with the more conservative beliefs he has encountered through religion.
