A grandmother has gone viral after giving her family photo wall an unexpected new addition: Hollywood star Michael B. Jordan.

Mary Story, an 89-year-old woman from Tulsa, Oklahoma, found a picture of the actor in a magazine, had it framed and proudly placed it alongside photographs of her actual grandchildren. She jokingly declared Jordan to be one of her grandsons, leaving her family amused by the unusual addition.
The hilarious moment was filmed and shared online by Story's granddaughter, Natalie Sims. The video quickly went viral, reportedly receiving around 1.7 million views and catching the attention of Jordan himself.

Rather than simply reacting online, Jordan decided to embrace his new honorary family role. His team contacted the family and sent Story a special gift featuring amethyst, her birthstone. Jordan and Story also happen to share February birthdays, just six days apart.
The actor later surprised Story with a FaceTime call. During their conversation, he thanked her for including him in the family pictures and complimented her family.

Story's daughter and granddaughter also joined the call, warmly welcoming Jordan into their family. When the family invited him to visit Tulsa, the actor playfully suggested that he might surprise them one day.
What started as a grandmother's playful decision to add a celebrity to her photo wall turned into a genuinely heartwarming interaction. Jordan's response transformed a funny viral moment into a memorable experience for Story and her family.
