Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Jeana Keough is facing a difficult new setback in her cancer battle, according to an update shared by her daughter, Kara.

The 70-year-old reality star, who is currently undergoing treatment for tongue cancer, has been struggling to eat for the past two weeks. Doctors had planned to install a feeding tube to help address her nutritional needs, but the procedure was called off after they discovered she was dealing with a potentially dangerous blood clot along with an infection.

Kara shared the update on Instagram, explaining that she wanted to keep friends and family informed given how many people have reached out with love and concern for her mother. Alongside her message, she included a photo of Jeana resting in a hospital bed, visibly exhausted and connected to IV fluids.

The news comes just days after Kara first revealed her mother's tongue cancer diagnosis publicly, also launching a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of ongoing medical treatment. The family has been leaning on their community for support during an already emotional and uncertain time.

As Jeana continues to navigate treatment complications, fans and former RHOC castmates have flooded social media with messages of support, hoping for a smoother path forward in her recovery.
