A Woman Paid a Wedding Planner $25,000 for Her Dream Day — the Planner Vanished With the Deposit Two Days Before the Wedding

A bride's dream wedding turned into a nightmare after her wedding planner allegedly disappeared with a $25,000 deposit just two days before the ceremony was set to take place.

According to the bride, she had spent over a year working with the planner, handling everything from the venue booking to catering, florals, and décor. Communication had been consistent for months, she said, until it suddenly stopped less than a week before the big day.

When she reached out for final confirmations, calls went unanswered and emails bounced back. Panicked, she contacted the venue directly, only to discover the deposit for the space had never actually been paid. The florist, caterer, and photographer she believed were booked had never been contacted at all.

With just 48 hours to spare, family and friends scrambled to piece together a wedding from scratch, calling in favors and rebooking vendors last minute. The bride says she's since filed a police report and is exploring legal options, but has little hope of recovering the money.

"I trusted her with the most important day of my life," she reportedly said. "And she just vanished."

Her story has since gone viral, with many sharing similar experiences of wedding vendors taking large deposits and disappearing without delivering services, a growing concern in an industry that often requires significant upfront payment with little regulation or protection for couples.
