Didi Conn From Grease Just Turned 75 and Has Never Had Botox or Surgery — She Credits Her Mother's Genes and a Simple Skincare Routine

Almost fifty years after playing Frenchy in Grease, Didi Conn has just turned 75 — and the conversation around her birthday has been less about the milestone and more about the fact that she barely looks like she has aged at all.

Didi has never had Botox. Never had plastic surgery. The idea of putting something foreign into her face genuinely frightens her — she has said so directly in interviews. Instead she has stuck to the basics her whole life — a gentle cleanser, a warm towel, and heaps of moisturiser. Minimal makeup. No heavy coverage.

She credits a large part of it to her mother. Her mother had beautiful skin throughout her life and Didi says she simply inherited it. The kind of thing no product can replicate and no procedure can manufacture.

What makes her story more remarkable is what she has been dealing with privately. Didi recently revealed that she secretly battled uterine cancer a year and a half ago and underwent a hysterectomy. She said the procedure changed her estrogen levels in ways that affected her skin — but her response to that has been characteristic of who she is. She found a moisturiser that helped and went back to being grateful.

Gratitude is something she talks about constantly. She has credited her late co-star Olivia Newton-John with teaching her what it actually means to practice it. For Didi it is not a platitude — it is genuinely how she moves through the world.

She is 75. She survived cancer. She still looks like Frenchy. And she is still going.
