The Princess of Wales presented Linda Noskova with the Venus Rosewater Dish after the 21-year-old claimed her first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon on Saturday. Kate arrived at SW19 earlier in the day in a red Roland Mouret dress and received a standing ovation as she took her seat in the Royal Box for the all-Czech Women's Final.

Noskova beat fellow Czech player Karolina Muchova in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, to win the tournament. As Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Kate was greeted on arrival by Sally Ambrose from the Committee of Management, then joined in the Royal Box by former tennis player Martina Navratilova, along with Kemi Badenoch, Davina McCall, Jodie Foster, and Hannah Waddingham.

Kate has taken a more hands-on approach to this year's tournament, breaking from tradition in earlier rounds by watching matches from outside courts rather than the Royal Box. She was seen on Court Number One and Court 18 last week. On Saturday, she also stopped to talk with 12-year-old Thea Stach, a disabled tennis fan who performed the coin toss ahead of the wheelchair singles final, which Japan's Yui Kamiji won 6-0, 6-0 against Diede de Groot.

Kate is known for her own interest in tennis and has presented the winner's trophy at the end of the tournament in previous years as well.
