Peter and Harriet Phillips Top Tatler's 2026 Social Power Index Alongside Dua Lipa, Callum Turner, Kemi Badenoch and Stanley Tucci

Tatler has released its 2026 Social Power Index — the annual list of 100 of the most socially significant names of the year — and the couple at the very top might surprise people who were not paying attention to the royal wedding circuit this summer.

Peter Phillips, 48, son of Princess Anne, and his new wife Harriet Sperling, 45, an NHS nurse, took the number one spot after their intimate wedding in the Cotswolds in June. The King and Queen were among the guests. Harriet wore an Emilia Wickstead gown and the Pragnell family tiara. The couple have since been spotted everywhere from Royal Ascot to Cheltenham to the Easter service at Windsor Castle. Tatler has officially declared them the new royal couple to watch.

Coming in at number four on the list was Dua Lipa and her husband actor Callum Turner — who is currently being rumoured as a serious contender for the next James Bond. The couple married earlier this year and have since become one of the most talked about pairings in both music and film.

Poppy Delevingne and her husband Archie Keswick took third place after Poppy threw what might have been the most attended birthday party of the year — guests included Taylor Swift, Princess Eugenie, Rita Ora, Lily James, Isla Fisher, and Alexa Chung among others. The Keswick family has a collective net worth of $4.6 billion.

Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch also featured alongside her husband Hamish, as did Stanley Tucci and his wife Felicity Blunt.

The list covers everyone from royals to politicians to pop stars — and this year's edition makes one thing very clear. The social season in Britain is very much back.
