A$AP Rocky said something at his Phoenix concert that the internet has not stopped talking about.
While performing on his Don't Be Dumb Tour, he stopped to address the women in the crowd and told them — directly — that they should be grateful they didn't know him when he was single, because of what he would have done with them.

The clip hit social media within hours. The reaction was immediate.
What made it worse for a lot of people wasn't just the comment itself — it was the timing. Rihanna has been showing up to multiple stops on this same tour. The two have been together for years. They have three children. And this is what he chose to say into a microphone in front of a packed arena.

Fans were not quiet about it. Comments ranged from flat-out telling Rihanna to leave him, to people questioning why a father of three thought this was an appropriate thing to say on stage. One person wrote that he could have simply told the crowd they were beautiful and left it there. Instead he went a different direction entirely.
Some people defended him, saying it was clearly a joke and the backlash was overblown.
Rihanna, for her part, didn't appear bothered. She was spotted shopping in Beverly Hills the next day — bags in hand, unbothered expression, moving at her own pace. Whether she's actually fine with it or just very good at not showing when she isn't is something only she knows.
Rocky has not addressed the backlash publicly.
