A special outdoor spring exhibition is now open near Lotte World Tower in Seoul’s Jamsil area, offering visitors a chance to enjoy art installations along with free coffee or popcorn at selected times. Organized by the French luxury jewelry brand Van Cleef & Arpels, the exhibition returns for its second year at the tower’s outdoor garden plaza after attracting strong visitor interest during its previous edition.
{img}This year’s installation is designed by French illustrator Charlotte Gastaut, who reinterprets signature design motifs associated with Van Cleef & Arpels—including butterflies and flowers—through her artistic perspective. The exhibition space is arranged like a walkable garden environment, allowing visitors to explore the installations comfortably while enjoying seasonal spring scenery. Several photo-friendly spots throughout the venue make it especially popular among visitors looking for relaxed outdoor activities in Seoul.
The exhibition is part of a global art project previously presented in New York, Tokyo and Shanghai, and the Seoul edition is the only opportunity to see the installation in Korea. Visitors can explore the venue freely without making reservations, making it an easy stop during a spring outing around the nearby Seokchon Lake area.
{img}Interactive experiences were also prepared for weekend visitors, including flower-crown making, plant-pot decorating and mini-garden workshops. Due to high demand, these hands-on programs filled quickly. However, guests can still participate in an on-site QR mission activity that offers a specially designed seed card as a souvenir.
Another highlight is the complimentary refreshment program. Visitors arriving at 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. can receive either free coffee or popcorn. In addition, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, spring-themed tattoo stickers are distributed to exhibition visitors while supplies last.
{img}The exhibition runs from March 27 to April 12 at the outdoor plaza of Lotte World Mall (300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul). Opening hours are 11 a.m.–8 p.m. (Mon–Thu) and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. (Fri–Sun). With free admission and no reservation required, the exhibition offers a convenient and enjoyable spring destination for both residents and travelers exploring Seoul.
