Two years into their career, Illit finally held their first solo concert and the group made it clear they had been waiting for this moment just as long as their fans had.
The five-member group, consisting of Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee and Iroha, held two nights of "Illit Live 'Press Start' in Seoul" on March 13 and 14 at the Ticket Link Live Arena in Songpa, southern Seoul. Both shows sold out during presales. The tour now continues with stops in Aichi, Osaka, Fukuoka, Kobe, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
{img}The concert opened with "Magnetic," the group's viral debut track that introduced them to audiences worldwide in 2024, drawing immediate loud cheers. "IYKYK" followed, and the energy carried through most of the two-hour set. The game-themed concept wove through the show's design, with sound effects and stage transitions matching the playful, fast-moving atmosphere Illit has built their identity around.
The setlist covered a broad range of the group's catalog, from the softer "Bamsopoong" and "Little Monster" to the more intense unit stages that drew some of the biggest crowd reactions of the night. Yunah, Minju and Iroha performed "Desperate" a bolder, darker track that sat in sharp contrast to Illit's usual bright presentation and the shift in tone landed well. Moka and Wonhee brought a cheerleader concept to "Scrum," which kept the energy high. The live debut of "Pimple" was another standout, with member Wonhee's vocals drawing particular attention during the harmonized sections.
{img}The closing segment leaned into fan favorites including "Tick-Tack," "Lucky Girl Syndrome" and "Not Cute Anymore," a track that has gained significant traction through short-form content. The emotional peak came during the members' closing remarks. Iroha grew tearful thanking fans for attending. Minju said performing in front of a full arena still felt like a dream. Yunah told the crowd that if they had a good night, so did she.
{img}The production had a few rough patches brief screen outages occasionally cut off visibility for fans seated farther back, and some extended pauses between stages disrupted the pacing. Stronger live vocal projection and smoother transitions would help as the tour moves into larger international venues.
Illit will also release their fourth EP, "Mamihlapinatapai," on April 30 their first new music in ten months.
