A Stanford University swimmer ended up collapsing inside the pool after a grueling race at this year's ACC Swimming and Diving Championships.

Immediately after the race ended, she remained inside the water longer than her other competitors and appeared to float inside the pool before she was assisted by coaches and team staff.

Once she was on the pool deck, she briefly collapsed and required swift medical attention before being able to walk off under her own power with assistance. The collapse was certainly outlined to be very alarming, enough that her team withdrew her from the upcoming 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard butterfly events as a precaution.
