Olympic Athlete Breezy Johnson Hit Back At People Who Accused Her Fiancé Of “Stealing Her Moment” By Proposing After She Won Gold

Olympian skier from the US, Breezy Johnson, just shared one of the most memorable moments of her life with the world.

At the winter Olympics 2026 in Milan, she and her longtime lover, Connor Watkins, were seen getting engaged after he got down on one knee, right after she crossed the lines for one of her races.

Johnson, who already won a gold medal for her home country, was seen competing in the Women's super-G when she suddenly crashed but came down safely. Shortly after that, Watkins appeared at the finish line, dropped to one knee, and then asked her to marry him.

She said yes with tears running down her face, officials and spectators continued to cheer them on, and turned what had been a tough day into one of pure joy and memories.

Watkins was planning the proposal for nearly a year, and Johnson later shared how she had always held a dream of getting a proposal at the Olympics, and he made that come true. She blasted all of her haters for stating that he tried to overshadow her achievements with a ring, adding how it was the most beautiful moment of her life.
