Republican lawmakers are now demanding a formal inquiry into the NFL and NBC Universal over what they called explicit and indecent content for so many reasons.
They shared how the content that was aired during the foreign star's Super Bowl LX halftime was beyond indecent and therefore an investigation needs to be launched against it.
Rep. Andy Ogles is among the leading lawmakers making this formal request, as he referred to the performance by Bad Bunnyas pure smut and explicit and indecent.
He shared how it featured sexually suggestive choreography and lyrics that he feels violate broadcast standards. He mentioned more on how there needed to be a body set up to examine the matter to avoid such instances in the future.
He also shared how it needs to be determined if the NFL and NBC knew about it in advance and still chose to approve it, knowing well that there was no room for such indecency in the world of sport, especially during a family-friendly show.
