Teen Who Died in Sledding Accident Identified While Injured Friend Remains on Life Support

A tragic sledding incident in Frisco, Texas, has left the entire community sad and grieving after a teen was said to be fighting for her life after a sledding accident.

16-year-old Elizabeth Anglel, who was a sophomore at the Wakeland High School and a soccer player, was also killed in the tragedy as a result of the fatal injuries she sustained while sledding.

Sources shared more details about how their sled struck a curb and collided with a tree.

The sled was said to be pulled through a neighborhood by a Jeep Wrangler driver by another teen when the crash took place during the afternoon hours.

Elizabeth was described by her loved ones, coaches, and teammates as a kind, loving, outgoing, and steady individual who had a great presence on and off the field.

Tributes were seen pouring in from all directions, especially from her school and soccer community. Many recalled her calm voice and someone who would stand her ground, no matter what. Her parents shared that she now leaves behind two sisters who loved her very much.
