Newly released body camera footage shared the emergency response after a Universal Orlando guest ended up unresponsive after his roller coaster ride in Orlando, Florida.
32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala rode the Stardust Racers ride at the Epic Universe theme park on September 17, 2025. He was soon pronounced dead at the local hospital.
The newly shared video from the Orange County Sheriff's Office was revealed by local media outlets, and it showed what went down in the moments after the ride came to a halt.
{img}"We went on the ride" his girlfriend mentioned to emergency responders who arrived at the scene. "He was just too low, and he did not have any support on his leg," she continued.
As per the previous report from the police department, Kevin's parents informed deputies that their son was born with a spinal cord atrophy and that he made use of a wheelchair because of this condition.
{img}She added how theme park staff members pushed three or four times on his lap restraint before the ride vehicle left the station. She saw him hit his head; it appeared like the restraint was tight, but it was not due to the fact that he did not have support on his neck. He kept hitting his head, and she cried for help, but since it was the middle of the ride, nothing could be done.
