Savannah Guthrie is ‘livid’ over false accusations against brother-in-law in missing mom case

Today anchor Savannah Guthrie is said to be furious over early claims that her brother-in-law was a prime suspect in her mother Nancy Guthrie's disappearance, as per the former NBC colleague Megyn Kelly.

The conservative firebrand mentioned more about how she had recently learned that Guthrie was left fuming after fellow journalist Ashleigh Banfield alleged that Savannah's brother-in-law was somehow linked to the kidnapping that arose in Arizona.

Kelly dropped the revelation amid reports that Guthrie is now planning to sue Banfield over these false allegations, especially since the Pima County Sheriff's Department publicly cleared the family of having any involvement.

The news comes after Savannah was seen paying her colleagues a visit in New York, as the case is yet to be solved regarding her mother's sudden, mysterious disappearance.

There are some speculations that the Guthrie family might be taking legal action on the matter soon, but no confirmation has been made on this yet.
