Family of Georgia teen who fatally ran over teacher speaks out after charges dropped against 5 students

A tragic incident in Georgia involving a prank gone wrong with a teacher left him dead.

However, in a unique twist of fate, the wife of the victim has chosen to pardon the five teens involved in her husband's tragic death and therefore opted to drop all the charges rolled out against them.

The teacher named Jason Hughes was a 40 year old who taught math and loved all of his students very much.

The teens had gone to his residence to carry out a prank and in the end, they mistakenly ran him over when he came out to confront them.

Jayden Wallace accidentally struck Hughes with his truck, and when they realized what had happened, they rushed the teacher to the hospital, where he soon passed away from his injuries.

Wallace faced a charge of first-degree vehicular homicide, while four other students were charged with criminal trespassing and littering. Prosecutors have shared that all charges were dropped as the wife did not wish to destroy the lives of the students that her husband deeply cared about.

The families of the five teens have broken the silence, showing remorse and gratitude as well as sympathizing with the victim's family.

They shared how Hughes was the most respectable and admirable individual, and his deeds to the education community can never be forgotten.
