Wanna One Is Back Together Again with a New Reality Show After 7 Years

K‑pop fans around the world are buzzing as legendary boy group Wanna One prepares to reunite in a brand‑new reality show nearly seven years after their official disbandment. The comeback comes as a major treat for fans who first fell in love with the group when they debuted in 2017 after competing on Produce 101 Season 2 and quickly became one of the most sensational acts in K‑pop.

The upcoming show is titled “WANNA ONE GO: Back to Base” and is set to premiere on April 28, 2026 on the content platform Mnet Plus, with a broadcast later the same night on the television channel Mnet. Prior to the show’s official launch, the group will also host an in‑person fan event on April 6 at DMC Culture Park in Seoul, giving fans an opportunity to reconnect with the members and celebrate the start of this new chapter together.

Wanna One was originally formed through the highly popular reality competition Produce 101 in 2017. The group’s debut was historic: they performed at major venues like the Gocheok Sky Dome, achieved million‑seller status with their debut album, and swept rookie and grand prize awards across key music ceremonies. Despite disbanding at the end of 2018 as stipulated by their contract, the eleven members have each gone on to build successful individual careers in music, acting, production, and other entertainment fields.

These early reactions suggest that fans—known as Wannables—remain deeply passionate about the group and eager to see how the members interact now that they are established as solo artists.

With anticipation building worldwide, WANNA ONE GO: Back to Base is set to be one of 2026’s most talked‑about K‑pop television events—mixing nostalgia with the promise of new memories.
