NexZ is heading back to Japan, and this time the venues are bigger.
JYP Entertainment announced Thursday that the boy group will perform at arenas in Tokyo and Osaka in May and June, marking their first time playing at that scale in the country. The group has two shows scheduled at each city Tokyo on May 30 and 31, and Osaka on June 12 and 13. Four arena shows in Japan, two years into a career, is a fairly significant step for any K-pop group.

Their previous Japan trip last summer covered 15 cities across 18 shows and included a concert debut at Budokan in Tokyo, one of the most recognized live music venues in the country.
Before the Japan arena run, the group will also perform in Hong Kong on March 28 and 29. The dates extend their "One Beat" special concert series, which previously ran in Seoul in October and Taipei in January.
NexZ debuted in 2024 under JYP Entertainment, making them one of the newer groups in the agency's lineup. Their mix of Korean and Japanese members was a deliberate part of their identity from the start, designed to build a fanbase across both markets simultaneously. The strategy appears to be working. Moving from 18 shows across 15 cities last summer to dedicated arena dates in two major cities this summer reflects real growth in their Japanese following in a short amount of time.
