Comedian and actor Martin Short has shared how deeply difficult it was to cope with the death of his wife, Nancy Dolman, and how that loss resonates so many decades later with him.
Short describes losing his wife, who passed away from cancer after nearly 30 years of marriage, as absolutely horrible. He similarly referenced it as the most difficult experience of his life. For years, he spoke about how he always felt so close to her and had her in all of his thoughts and memories. He also mentioned how her influence continued to shape his perspective on family as well as grief.
{img}Recently, Short faced another major loss when his eldest daughter, Katherine, was found dead at the age of just 42.
Her cause of death is being called a suicide, as the wounds on her body indicated a self-inflicted gunshot. The tragedy comes roughly 15 years after his wife's passing and has understandably left loved ones devastated.
